Springfield Public Schools will end the practice of annualized pay for all non-exempt/hourly staff on June 30, 2023. The primary reasons for this change are to improve the ability to recruit and retain staff while also improving efficiencies within the human resources and payroll departments.
Effective July 1, 2023, time worked by non-exempt/hourly staff will be paid on a non-annualized basis (hours worked at the hourly rate).
