VIKING VIEWS

  • Books for summer reading:

    • English I Honors: Between Shades of Gray  by Ruta Sepetys
    • English II Honors: A Separate Peace by John Knowles
    • English III Honors: Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglass (unabridged) by Frederick Douglass
    • Grammar and Composition: The Autobiography of Malcolm X: As Told to Alex Haley
    • AP Literature: Brave New World  by Aldous Huxley

    Students who enroll in Honors English courses are expected to complete the summer reading for each appropriate honors and advanced course. This reading is assigned at the time of enrollment in the class (prior to summer), and it will be tested over during the first two class periods of the new school year. Students are responsible for acquiring their own copy of the book, which are available at local bookstores, the public and school library, and online through various retailers. Any student with a financial hardship should contact their high school counselor before the end of the summer.


     

    Seniors

    Final transcripts will not be available with your Graduation date till approximately June 15. Please follow the instructions below to submit a request. If you get a message from your College, University or the Military asking for your transcript rest assured if you have put in a request, I will send it as soon as it available.
