  • Work-based learning and student experiences are educational strategies that enhance real-world opportunities into the academic curriculum by partnering with business, industry, postsecondary institutions and other entities. This approach is designed to provide students with practical skills, knowledge and experiences that can enhance their academic learning and prepare them for the transition from school to the workforce. Work-based learning experiences are delivered on a 3 tiered continuum: career awareness, career exploration, and career preparation.
