Families and employees to receive first text message from SPS Wednesday, March 28.

  • Springfield Public Schools now offers the option of receiving important alerts via text message. Text messages will be in addition to the voice calls you may have been receiving.  Text messages will be used for school cancellations and emergency notifications while voice calls may also be sent for attendance reminders, school events, etc.

The primary number on record will automatically be opted in to receive text messages.  If that number is a text enabled number, a welcome text message will be sent around 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Mar. 28.  For information on adding a number to receive text messages or to stop receiving text messages, view the instructions below.
