The Axis Insurance Company has agreed to offer parents of Springfield students a reasonably priced student accident insurance plan to provide benefits in the event of accidental injuries. Families may use accident insurance as supplemental coverage to help pay some of their out- of-pocket costs due to high deductibles and copays.

All students that desire to participate in school sports are required to have basic insurance coverage in effect before students are permitted to participate in Springfield School District interscholastic sports tryouts, practices or games. Plans offered by Axis may be used to fulfill the requirements mandated by MSHSAA By-Laws.
