Study Alternative High School serves primarily students who are in grades 10-12. Students are referred by their homeschool staff.
Study High provides an educational setting to address the academic and personal needs of students who have experienced problems in the traditional school setting. Study High School offers a small community of students and teachers who work together to create a safe and respectful learning environment. A variety of learning styles are addressed through individualized curriculum, service-learning, and project-based education.
Community Learning-This class works to provide meaningful service to the community and to promote students' personal, social and academic development. Students will apply skills and knowledge they have learned to the issues which will be addressed in this class. Students will be problem solving, planning, communicating, leading, deciding, serving and reflecting.
A nursery program is also available for students enrolled in classes.
The Study HS schedule is from 8:45 am-2:45 pm.
