What is the PTA Clothing Bank?
The PTA Clothing Bank is a free clothing resource for Springfield Public School students.
Who can get clothes from the PTA Clothing Bank?
Springfield Public School student who qualify for free & reduced lunch or are referred by a principal, counselor, or school nurse due to emergency circumstances. Clothing is limited to SPS students, and does not include parents, guardians, or family members not in school.
What do I need to shop for my student at the PTA Clothing Bank?
Student ID/ Lunch # required at check-in. You can shop for clothing without your student present, but the Kiwanis do require the student to be present for their shoe fitting.
Who runs the PTA Clothing Bank?
The PTA Clothing Bank is operated by the Springfield Council of PTAS (a 501c3 not-for-profit). The bank is funded by monetary and clothing donations. 100% of donations are used to buy clothing. We have no overhead because our helpers are all volunteers and SPS provides the space at no cost to the Council.
The Kiwanis Shoe Bank partners with the PTA Clothing Bank to provide shoes for students.
Where is the PTA Clothing Bank located?
PTA Clothing Bank is located at 2343 W. Olive Street, 65802 in Study Alternative Center. The entrance is on the back (northeast) side of the building. Look for the double doors (#13) with our sign above the doors.
When is the PTA Clothing Bank open?
The PTA Clothing Bank is open from 10:00AM to 4:30PM on certain Thursdays throughout the school year. The Kiwanis Shoe Bank is open from 10:30-4:30PM on August 6th and 8th and from 1:30-4:30PM on all other shopping days. View the shopping date calendar.

How can you help the PTA Clothing Bank?

- Volunteer! Email clothingbank@scptamo.com to sign up. We ALWAYS need volunteers to sort donations, hang clothes on hangers, get things out on the shopping racks, straighten the shopping floor, or help with projects, etc.
- Donate Clothing! Bring clean, gently used clothing (size 3T-Adult) to the PTA Clothing Bank on shopping days or drop clothing by The Wash House location on Campbell/Walnut Lawn or on Glenstone. *We only accept clothing due to limited space.
- Shop our Amazon Wishlist! We can always use new items from our Amazon Wishlist.
- Donate Money! Use our Givebacks Link. 100% of donations are used to buy new clothing for the PTA Clothing Bank.
