In honor of World Kindness Day we begin the Shady Dell Kindness Project. This will help to show kindness to families in need during this holiday season. There will be a class contest.
In 2006-2007 the district added to its established early childhood program by opening the Shady Dell Early Childhood Center. The center houses 6 Wonder Years classrooms as well as 3 Early Childhood Special Education classrooms. The center can serve up to 180 preschool students. After-school care, called Cub Club, is also offered at the center.
Additionally, Shady Dell serves as a Parents as Teachers hub for Springfield Public Schools.
