GHS, CHS girls golf teams win first and second in state championship

The Glendale and Central girls golf teams finished at the top of the state.

Glendale and Central High School's girls golf teams placed first and second in the Missouri Class 3 State Championship. 

"To go 1 and 2 in the state is an outstanding achievement for any district," said Josh Scott, Athletic Director. "We're so proud of the way that SPS students represent not only the district, but the excellent athletes and athletic programs at their schools."

Glendale junior Page Bowman contributed to her school's overall state title, winning her second consecutive individual state championship. Senior Audrey Duvall placed second in the state overall.

  • Phoebe Lin, CHS, 14th tie
