CHS Math Team wins state championship in Math League contest

Central High School took 18 students to the Missouri Math League State Championship, and the team came home with First Place in Sweepstakes.
"This is an outstanding accomplishment for all these students and was a true team effort, and I am so proud of them," said Ellen Hunter, Math Team Coach at Central High School.
In addition to the overall award, these students and teams placed for the following events:
- 4th Place Team: Naomi Meng, Bijayesh Pradhan, Emma Lewis, Lanie Deng, Audrey Gao, Gavin Luo
- 3rd Place Power Question: Joseph Robbins, Bijayesh Pradhan, Emma Lewis, Lanie Deng, Audrey Gao, Gavin Luo
- 3rd Place Relay: Naomi Meng, Bijayesh Pradhan, Jack Wegrzyn
