Kickapoo High School's Scholar Bowl team is headed to nationals.
Over Memorial Day weekend, Kickapoo High School's Scholar Bowl team will participate in national competition. The team took third in the MSHSAA state championship in Class 6. Class 6 consists of approximately 70 schools.
"We were one question away (88 questions in each round) from advancing to the championship game," said Angie Odom, Scholar Bowl Coach. "I'm so proud of these students."
In addition, two KHS seniors will play Scholar Bowl at the collegiate level. Nathan Swenson will play for the University of Missouri, and Caden Haustein will play for Harding University in Arkansas.
