KHS students raise $4,000 for Honor Flight of the Ozarks
May 9, 2023
In April, Kickapoo High School students held their annual outreach project, Mr. KHS. The fundraiser each year supports a local nonprofit, selected by KHS students.
With ticket sales, passing the bucket, parking lot collection and individual fundraising, Mr. KHS raised more than $4,000 for Honor Flight of the Ozarks.
"This is such a proud moment for our Kickapoo Cabinet and student body," said Jennifer Highfill, Cabinet Co-Advisor.
A check was presented by KHS Cabinet to the Honor Flight on May 9, just in time for the next Honor Flight (May 17). "We were able to hold a successful event with the help of our contestants, student body, staff, parents and community members," said Kim Harris, Cabinet Co-Advisor. "We're so proud of what we were able to accomplish together."
