“In our cafe, we’re all about cooking with heart. We actually all bought matching T-shirts that say that, because it so perfectly describes who we are. We love the kids and we’re here for them, not just to feed them great food, but to listen to them if they’re having a bad day or just need a hug from someone who cares about them. I’ve worked for SPS for nine years, and I’ve been here for four years, so I’ve watched these seniors grow up. I could cook anywhere, but I work at Glendale and at SPS because of these kids. I love them like they’re my own.”
