Three new Board members to be sworn in Tuesday, April 13

Voters selected three new additions to the Springfield Public Schools Board of Education.  The new members will be sworn in on Tuesday, April 13, 5:30 p.m.  Due to COVID-19 restrictions, in-person seating will be very limited but the ceremony will be live streamed.

Board members serve a three-year term.

Elected were:

Crise Scott Crise is an engineer and manager of technical services at Associated Electric.  Crise shared, " I’m so excited to be on the Board and am looking forward to working with the new and current Board members, Dr. Jungmann and then Dr. Lathan as well as the administration staff and teachers. I will listen to teachers and work with the Board and administrators to help guide our schools out of COVID-19 and into the future."

 

 

 

 kincaid Danielle Kincaid is an attorney and founded the Elder Law Group with a partner.  She specializes in wills, trusts, and estate planning.  "Thank you to all the Springfield voters for your confidence in me.  I look forward to serving our community, students, educators, and parents," shared Kincaide.

 

  

 

 

 

 

 

maryam Dr. Maryam Mohammadkhani is a retired pathologist.  She received her Bachelor of Science degree from University of California Irvine, and her Medical Doctoral degree from University of Southern California School of Medicine.  She trained and practiced in the Harvard medical system in Boston before joining Cox Health in 2001.
