On Feb. 4, all Springfield Public Schools high schools participated in Future Business Leaders of America's district competition. More than 140 SPS FBLA members competed at the District Leadership Conference, with 95 members qualifying for student level competition.

"FBLA is a student organization focused on career exploration, civic service, economic education and technical skill advancement," said Katie Kensinger, coordinator of college and career readiness. "FBLA prepares students for careers in business and business-related fields, while also helping students develop life skills needed to be capable and contributing citizens."
