Q: “What is the most important work that SPS does to help protect students and staff online?”
A: “The most important work that SPS performs to protect students and staff online is providing information and training on how to best protect themselves. The reality is that most students and staff spend time on electronic devices outside of the schools. While we can provide layers of technical protections on our own gear, we can’t stop hackers from going after personal devices that are outside of the district. If we can help our staff, students and parents learn how to keep their information safe outside of our protective wings, then we will provide a lifelong group of informed, intelligent, and aware cyber citizens.”
