    SCENE 2:

(The eccentric old Professor Snow-It-All dressed in a lab coat and wearing spectacles, with a pointer, blackboard, etc. explains to the class how snow is made. He is very passionate.)

PROFESSOR SNOW-IT-ALL:       (with a ridiculous European accent) My name is

TRENTON F 5 SJ                           Professor Snow-It-All, because I do! (pause) Snow it all! Get it? Snow it all? (slight pause) Get it? Snow it all?

    (All groan)

PROFESSOR SNOW-IT-ALL:       Now, I am certain you are all vundering vhat is it dat

TRENTON F 5 SJ                          makes da snow! (pause) Me, too. (he catches himself) I mean, (very enthusiastically) me, too! I have often vundered vat makes da snow.

    STUDENT 1:                                 Well?

    KADYNCE R 4 P

    PROFESSOR SNOW-IT-ALL:       Vell, what?

    TRENTON F 5 SJ

STUDENT 2:                                 What makes the snow?

    EDIE P 4 P

PROFESSOR SNOW-IT-ALL:       I have no idea! (slight pause) Yust kidding! Yust

TRENTON F 5 SJ           kidding! Now listen veeery carefully. A snowflake starts out as tree ingredients: vater, vapor, ice crystals, and dust. Ice crystals form ven vater vapor freezes on a microscopic piece of dust.

    STUDENT 3:                                 Dust?!

    RAYGAN V 4 P

PROFESSOR SNOW-IT-ALL:       Dust! Around da dust, snow begins forming in da

TRENTON F 5 SJ                           very cold cloud dat has bot super cold vater droplets and da ice crystals. When vater vapor droplets collide with da ice crystal, da droplet freezes to it. Dis makes it grow into a larger ice crystal. When many ice crystals stick togetter and fall, dis is vat ve call a “snowflake!”

STUDENT 4:                                 (now very confused) But Professor Snow-It-All, I

    KOBE G 4 SJ                                don’t understand!

PROFESSOR SNOW-IT-ALL:       Hmm! Let’s see. Let me make it a little more simple.

TRENTON F 5 SJ                          Hit it, Mort! (He cues the music.)
