Tara Conaway is a Speech-Language Pathologist serving Intensive Support Classrooms at Delaware. Now in her 10th year at Delaware and her 7th year as the district’s Assistive Technology Consultant for Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), she is dedicated to empowering students with complex communication needs. Tara works closely with educators, families, and support teams to integrate AAC tools and strategies that foster meaningful communication and participation for every learner.

Mrs. Whitson is a proud Springfieldian and is beginning her 21st year in education. Mrs. Whitson feels fortunate to support Delaware students and staff to continue growing and learning. She loves our D Team and Families and seeks opportunities to build our community and collaboration. When not at school, Mrs. Whitson loves nothing more than spending time with family.
