Are you looking to challenge yourself? Can you run, jump, or throw? Then the Track and Field team would love to have you join us and help you work for your goals. Track and Field is a sport with 18 different individual and relay events in which you can succeed. You can sprint in events between 100m and 400m or run in distance events between 800m (half mile) to 3200 m (2 mile). Field events include Shot Put, Discus, Long Jump, Triple Jump, High Jump, and Pole Vault. When you participate in track, you will learn techniques for new events, improve your overall speed, and learn to embrace challenges. Everyone can find an event they can compete and improve in and many of those skills transfer to improvement in other sports. Participating in Track gives you the opportunity to receive awards, participate in team and individual events and travel to competitions with other Missouri schools and those from other states.
