International Thespian Society, or Drama Club, was founded at Parkview in 1992. ITS’s purpose is to educate and enjoy the performing arts in a high school setting. ITS produces 3 main stage shows a year, including two musicals and one full length play, and also has two one-acts and a reader’s theatre piece that they take to competition. In 2004, Parkview Theatre was asked to perform their production of “Clue; The Musical” at the International Thespian Festival. Along with state and international festivals, thespians participate in many other activities such as picnics, relay-for-life, holiday parties, lock-ins, award ceremonies, and more!
