Lohman Ms. Amy Lohman, Amy Speech Language Pathologist H. Special Education Amy Lohman is beginning her 20th year as a speech-language pathologist with SPS. She worked her first year as an SLP in southern California. Amy has worked at several schools throughout the Springfield school district and currently serves the students and families at Sequiota and Field Elementary. In her free time, you can find her driving her son and daughter to all of their baseball and dance events and proudly cheering them on.

Sharkey Mr. Steve Sharkey, Steve Instructional Support Aide K. Support Staff Steve Sharkey began his career in education with SPS 18 years ago in 2001.�Prior to becoming an ISA at Sequiota, Steve was a sub with SPS for 3 years, teaching art for a semester and 3rd grade for a semester at Williams Elementary among other assignments. He was a kindergarten para at Williams Elementary for 3 years and a Wonder Years para for 5 years at Shady Dell Early Childhood Center. He has been at Sequiota for 7 years as a classroom para, computer teacher and his present position as ISA. I
Morris Mrs. Jennifer Morris, Jennifer Instructional Technologist STEAM I. Specialty Teachers Jennifer Morris is our Instructional Technologist and STEAM teacher. She has been with SPS for 8 years. This is her 5th year at Sequoita. She has taught several things including first grade and preschool.She graduated from Culver-Stockton College in 1995 with a B.S. in Elementary Education. She is a certified teacher. In 2000, Mrs. Morris graduated with a M.S in Educational Administration from Missouri State University. Mrs. Morris lives in Ozark with her husband of 17 years and two teenagers.
Wagner Mrs. Jessica Wagner, Jessica Principal A. Administration Mrs. Wagner is starting her 11th year in Springfield Public Schools. This will be her 2nd year at Sequiota. She completed her Specialist degree in Educational Leadership at Arkansas State University, her Masters in Instructional Leadership at Drury University, and her bachelors in Art Education at MSU. She has previously served as the Assistant to the Principal at Disney and Bingham, and has taught elementary art at Weaver, Bissett, Weller, & Boyd.

Brown Mrs. Jessie Brown, Jessie Nurse L. Office Hello, the students call me "Nurse Jessie". This is my second year at Seqiuota. My nursing background is Pediatrics and Step-Down Critical Care at Cox Health. I love the school setting and making a differences in our students lives on a daily basis. I am also a Sequiota parent. My husband and I have three daughters ages 2, 5, and 8. Family is very important to me. My family loves board games, movies, and girl's nights (minus daddy).
Durden Mr. Bruce Durden, Bruce Head Custodian M. Custodial Bruce Durden is Sequiota’s head custodian. Before SPS Bruce worked for Boeing Aerospace in San Antonio, TX for 15 years. He came to Springfield to be closer to family. Bruce has 2 children who serve as international missionaries. He has two grandkids. Bruce’s wife moved from the Philippines last year. In his free time, Bruce likes to kayak and do spray paint art.

I am married and have 2 children and 5 grandchildren. My husband is a preacher in Hermitage were we live. I spend time with family, time at the lake and walking.

Nutrition I am from Warrensburg, Missouri originally but I have lived in Springfield since I was in high school.I have been married to my husband Jeff for 22 years. We have two daughters and two sons. Jordan is 20, Mia is 16, Logan is 12 and Jack is 11. Prior to working at Sequiota I was a stay at home mom for 14 years. In my spare time I enjoy reading, sewing, spending time outside and Drury basketball games where my daughter Jordan is a cheer

Hubbell Mrs. Bethany Hubbell, Bethany Kindergarten Teacher B. Kindergarten This is Bethany Hubbell's 13th year in education. She spent 9 years in 1st grade, 2 in 2nd grade and is excited about her 2nd year in Kindergarten. She received her Bachelors in Education from Missouri State University as well as her Masters in Literacy. When Bethany is not at school, you can find her spending time with her family. She also enjoys traveling, listening to music and spending time with her dog, Albus Dumbledoge.

Nichols Mrs. Dottie Nichols, Dottie First Grade Teacher C. 1st grade Dottie Nichols has taught at Sequiota for 16 years, 14 in 1st grade. She has also taught a 2nd grade and a 1-2 split. She received her B.S. in Elementary Education with a certification in TESOL. Mrs. Nichols holds a Master of Science in Reading Education from MSU. Her passion is to see children learn and grow, to ensure they feel loved and valued, and to watch them blossom into confident and successful learners. Getting to know her students and building strong relationships is her priority.
Kilburn Mrs. Krissi Kilburn, Krissi Second Grade Teacher D. 2nd grade Krissi Kilburn has been in education for nine years. She is a second grade teacher with past teaching experience in kindergarten and fifth. Before joining the Sequiota staff Krissi had taught in Independence and Republic Missouri. Krissi holds two degrees; a�Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Mathematics from Missouri State, and a Masters in Teaching and Curriculum Instruction with an emphasis in Reading from Mizzou.In her free time she enjoys reading, painting, golf
Wadsworth Mrs. Sheri Wadsworth, Sheri Second Grade Teacher D. 2nd grade Sheri Wadsworth has been an elementary education teacher for Springfield Public Schools for 26 years with 25 of those being at Sequiota Elementary. She has taught grades 2, 3, 4, and 5.� Her favorite thing about teaching is to find creative ways to help all students be successful with their learning. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family riding bikes, playing games, and watching movies.

Zay Mrs. Traci Zay, Traci Third Grade Teacher E. 3rd grade Traci Zay has been teaching for 2 years. She is a graduate of Drury college with a masters in EDU. She is a wife to Mark and a mother to two grown children. Her hobbies include walks with her 12 year old Yorkie, Scruffie, watching ballet, book clubs and theatre. She loves Sequiota because of �the great minds of our students and the wonderful teaching staff.
Griffin Mrs. Bobbie Griffin, Bobbie Third Grade Teacher E. 3rd grade Bobbie Griffin is beginning her eleventh year of teaching. She taught at Chadwick Elementary School for four years before moving to Sequiota Elementary. Most of her teaching experience has been in the third grade classroom, but she also taught kindergarten for one year and will be teaching fourth grade this year. In addition to a masters degree in elementary education, she has reading specialist and gifted and talented certifications. She has been married for fifteen years and has one fur baby.
Nelson Mrs. Traci Nelson, Traci Fourth Grade Teacher F. Fourth Traci Nelson has been teaching for 26 years.�She graduated from Missouri State University with a Bachelors and Masters of Science in Elementary Education.�She has previously taught at York Elementary. Throughout her 26 years, she has taught 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th grades.�Outside of teaching, Traci enjoys spending time with her family in many ways, but often at baseball, basketball, and cheer events.� It is Traci's goal to develop relationships with each of her students while fostering learn
Schofield Mrs. Sarah Schofield, Sarah Fourth Grade Teacher F. Fourth Sarah Schofield has been teaching for 18 years. She graduated from Missouri State University with a Bachelors of Social Work. She graduated from Drury with a Masters of Science in Elementary Education. She taught fifth grade at Weaver for one year, and the other 16 years have been at Sequiota teaching fourth and fifth grades. When Sarah is not teaching, she enjoys running, shopping, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.

Seidel Mrs. Hannah Seidel, Hannah Special Education Teacher H. Special Education Hannah Seidel is the part-time special education teacher at Sequiota. She will be spending half of the day at Sequiota Elementary and the other half at Wilder Elementary. She graduated from Missouri State University in May 2018 with a Bachelor�s in Special Education. She is a first-year teacher and excited to be joining the Sequiota Tribe! She and Caleb were married in June 2019. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends.
Hoing Mrs. Rachel Hoing, Rachel Kindergarten Teacher B. Kindergarten This is her 10th year of teaching, and her 1st year at Sequiota. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and a Masters in Literacy, both from Evangel University. It is her passion to help children become compassionate citizens and lifelong learners. She has been married for 12 years and has 2 young children. She loves spending time with family and friends, traveling, going to movies, walking and chips and queso!
Duncan Mrs. Cindy Duncan, Cindy Fifth Grade Teacher D. 2nd grade Mrs. Duncan has been an educator for 21 years. She has taught Kindergarten, First Grade, Second Grade, Third Grade, Fifth Grade, and Sixth Grade. She has a Bachelor’s Degree and a Master’s Degree, both in Elementary Education. Both degrees are from Missouri State University. She is currently teaching Second Grade here at Sequiota. She has been with her husband for almost 31 years. They have three daughters and one grandson.
Olson Ms. Katie Olson, Katie Third Grade Teacher E. 3rd grade Katie Olson graduated from Drury University with her Bachelors in Elementary Education in December 2018. Ms. Olson completed her student teaching at Fremont Elementary and this is her first year teaching. She also enjoys spending time with her friends and family as well as reading, drawing, painting, and learning.
Rader Mrs. Danae Rader, Danae School Community Liaison C. Front Office This is Danae Rader’s 6th year in education. She began her teaching career in Clever, where she taught for 4 years before moving to Springfield Public Schools. She received her Masters in Exceptional Children and Youth from Drury University in 2018. This past May, she completed her Specialist degree in Elementary Education from Lindenwood University. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and her three dogs. You can find her camping or spending time at Table Rock Lake.
Hunton Mrs. Spenser Hunton, Spenser First Grade Teacher C. 1st grade I am married with two sweet kids. We love to do anything outdoors such as biking, playing at the park and going on nature walks. I chose to become a teacher because I love being around kids and teaching is a passion of mine!
