I have a degree in Commercial Interior Design from SMSU (now Missouri State) which I “retired” from after my son was born. My husband is Jon and we have been married for 26 years. Our son Andrew is getting ready to graduate from Missouri S&T and start his engineering career in January. My husband and I were born and raised here in Springfield (high school sweethearts.) I have 25 year old twins and a 22 year old daughter. I love anything outside. Kindergarten is where my heart is and even though this year may look a little different, our kindergarten year will be filled with love, laughter, fun, and lots of learning. I am originally from Orlando, Florida but I grew up as a military brat and moved around quite a bit growing up. Angel then moved to New Orleans where she earned her Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction, with certification in Early Childhood Education. Angel taught Kindergarten in New Orleans for 11 years before moving to Springfield. In 2011, she married her college sweetheart and began teaching at Pittman. In 2017 I became a Pittman Eagle as the kindergarten para and in 2018 I was blessed to get hired as a first-grade teacher. In 1989 I graduated from Regis University in Denver, CO, with a BA in Sociology, and later returned to school to obtain my teaching degree from Sierra Nevada College. I completed my Master’s degree in 2005 attending William Woods University. I am married to my best friend and high school crush. We have two silly fur girls (dogs) named Stella and Lucy.
