Back to School Information

Bus route information for eligible students who notified us by the transportation routing deadline of their intent to ride during the 2025-2026 school year will be sent out by the middle of August. That information will be communicated via email using the email addresses for the first two contacts listed in the student's eSchool record. If you need to add or change those email addresses, please contact your child's school.

Yes! You can register at any time.

The deadline to guarantee bus service for the first day of school was June 15, 2025, but if there's already a stop near your home, your student may still be able to ride on the first day.

If a new stop needs to be added, your student will be assigned once routes are updated. Route updates happen every Wednesday starting Aug. 27.

You can locate the school you will attend by locating it on the Maps and Boundaries page or by calling the Records Department at 523-4747 or the Transportation Department at 523-0500. 

Meet the teacher events are a great opportunity for students to visit their schools and get acquainted with their teachers and classrooms before school starts. Please check with your child's school for dates and times.

Schedule pick-up dates and times will not be available until early August. Contact your child's school or visit the school's web page for dates. 

Blackboard Connect allows the district and individual schools to contact parents via phone call, text messages and email with important announcements about school events or emergency situations. To receive Blackboard Connect messages you must provide contact information by completing the form included in the student handbook or by updating it directly in Home Access if allowed by your school.

Forms required to participate in sports activities can be found on the Athletic Program and Service page.

• The physical form must be completed and signed by your child's physician.  
• The concussion form must be read and signed by the parent and the student. 

All students participating in school sports are required to have basic insurance coverage in effect before they are permitted to participate in district interscholastic sports tryouts, practices or games.  Learn more here.

The 2025 Back-to-School Sales Tax Holiday begins at 12:01 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 1, and runs through 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 3. 

Purchases made in Springfield and Greene County will still have local sales taxes assessed.
