Title I Numeracy Program
The purpose of the Title I Numeracy Program is to improve and accelerate the academic performance of low-achieving students. Highly qualified Title I Numeracy Specialists and Coaches study and participate in ongoing, research based professional development through the U.S. Math Recovery Council. Specialists and coaches assess for the purpose of informing instruction to best determine students’ current understanding in mathematics.
Title I Numeracy services are available for grades 1-8 in selected Title I sites with student selection based on multiple criteria data.
