SPS student musicians named to 2021 Missouri All-State Choir
2021:
Missouri high school students participated in a third round of competition on Nov. 6, 2021 for a chance to be named a Missouri All-State Choral musician. The Missouri All-State Choir is the highest individual accomplishment vocal students from Missouri can achieve in state competition.
Based on scores from the competition held on Sept. 18, 100 South Central Missouri high school students were eligible to compete for one of the top 32 places in our region.
At the conclusion of the competition, 14 SPS vocal music students were among the finalists.
“Now recognized among the most accomplished high school vocalists in the state of Missouri, these students will participate in the All-State music festival at Tan-Tar-A resort in Osage Beach, Missouri in January 2022,” said KHS Director of Vocal Music Nathan Cornelius. “Congratulations to the following SPS students for this major accomplishment!”
