Here fishy fishy
Explore students enrolled in Outdoor-U recently spent a week learning how to fish. On June 14, accompanied by family members, they were offered the opportunity to put what they had learned into practice at the Missouri Department of Conservation Day of Family Fishing at Bois D’arc Education Pond. Each participant received a free cane pole.
Greg Collier, outdoor skills specialist for Missouri Department of Conservation, declared the event a tremendous success with nearly 50 SPS students and parents from multiple SPS middle schools attending.
Students enrolled in the July session of Outdoor-U will also have the same opportunity to participate in this event in July. Visit sps.org/explore to enroll.
