• VIKING VIEWS 12/7/18

Ladies, are you interested in running your own business in the future? Not sure where you’d start? Then come attend Stay Growing, Springfield’s First Women’s Entrepreneurship Conference!
Women are under-represented among entrepreneurs. Stay Growing is here to change that. With empowering speakers and creative workshops, we’ll help you learn all you need to know about being a business owner, and why you should become your own boss. Interested? Stay Growing will be hosted at the eFactory downtown, this Saturday (December 8) from 12 PM - 2 PM. You can RSVP for Stay Growing by visiting our website at ‘staygrowing.godaddysites.com’

Hey Vikings! Want to take care of your library overdue fines and help our community at the same time? Take advantage of Food for Fines, now until December 19th. Each canned or prepackaged food item that you bring in will wipe out one dollar of your overdue fees. Fa la la la your way to the library with any questions.

The Crazy Tasks for Crazy Teachers Leadership 201 fundraiser has come to an end. The student body has helped raise close to $150.00, which means you get to see Ms. Hester get sprayed with silly string, Mr. Fogle get mummified, and Mrs. Busch get a pie in the face. All of these crazy tasks will take place during our Winter Assembly on January 10th. Thank you so much for your support of our Parkview Leadership School. Lead on Parkview!

The World Languages Club Holiday Party will be next Tuesday (December 11th) in Madame West's room. Please RSVP by this FRIDAY (December 7th) to Senor Schall or Madame West.

Attention all students! Come party until dawn at the leadership lock-in next Friday (December 14th) from 8 pm to 6 am. Tickets are $5, which includes food and admission. Attendance must be 90% or higher; however if your attendance is lower for personal reasons, please talk to Dr. Ramsey to get approved to go. Permission forms and information will be available through next Wednesday (Dec. 12th) at all lunches. Contact Mrs. Roche, Jaylynn Huddleston, or Aleeya Walton for more information. Come out and help make history at the first lock-in in Parkview History!

There will be an ARCHERY meeting next Wednesday (December 12th) after school in Mr. Mustain's Room. Please stop by Mr. Mustain's Room before next Wednesday to get access to the information form that MUST BE FILLED OUT before the meeting. Reminder - our first practice will be December 17th!

There will be an informational meeting for any students interested in joining the Parkview bowling team on December 13 @ 3:30 at Sunshine Lanes.  First practice is scheduled for January 3.

Finally, due to a variety of factors, including several tournaments that are scheduled for tomorrow and ACT testing on Saturday, we have decided to turn out the Black Lights for real this year and cancel the dance. We apologize for any inconvenience.
