The Parkview Lassies Drum and Bugle Corps celebrated St. Patrick’s Day in sunny Saint Augustine, Florida as part of the Saint Augustine Celtic Music & Heritage Festival on March 14.

Saint Augustine, Florida is considered America’s oldest Celtic city. The St. Augustine Celtic Music & Heritage Festival featured Celtic bands, highland games, a parade, workshops and more. As part of the festival, the Parkview Lassies marched in “The Original St. Patrick Parade,” established in 1601.

The Parkview Lassies are a Scottish drum & bugle corps representing Parkview High School. Their mission is to stimulate school spirit, be good citizens through community volunteerism and involvement and to maintain high standards of its members. Since 1956, nearly 1,700 students have proudly worn the MacArthur tartan and continue the mission today.
