Kickapoo High School’s Envirothon team placed first at the state competition and will continue on to the national competition at Mississippi State University in July.

The Envirothon is a high school level international environmental and natural resource problem-solving competition. Students utilize STEM principles in hands-on, outdoor field experiences exploring environmental education and natural resource conservation.

Both Kickapoo and Central High School participated in the regional competition in November 2025 and the state competition in April 2026. Central placed first and third at regionals, and eighth and 11th at state.
