SPS Staff Ambassadors
SPS Staff Ambassadors will have the opportunity to meet with administration, tour classroom spaces and learn more about SPS schools and programs. The program is intended to deepen the understanding of SPS, its programs and services so that Ambassadors can be effective advocates for Springfield Public Schools, its employees and students.
This program is a collaborative effort with the Foundation for Springfield Public Schools to engage with people who believe in public education and who want to support Springfield Public Schools.
Ambassadors will meet from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on the following dates:
- Saturday, Oct. 18
- Saturday, Feb. 21
If you are interested in being considered for the upcoming cohort, please complete the application by Friday, Sept. 12, 2025.
What I loved about the Staff Ambassador program was it provided me with the opportunity to engage with district leaders and learn about some great things happening across SPS--from Choice programs, to community partnerships. I was able to connect with other staff throughout the district I wouldn’t normally get to collaborate with, who support and keep our schools running day in and day out at all levels.
