SPS Ambassadors

SPS Ambassadors

SPS Ambassadors will have the opportunity to learn more about the school district, meet with key leaders and participate in tours of schools and programs. The program is intended to deepen the understanding of SPS, its programs and services so that Ambassadors can be effective advocates for Springfield Public Schools, its employees and students.

This program is a collaborative effort with the Foundation for Springfield Public Schools to engage with people who believe in public education and who want to support Springfield Public Schools.

Ambassadors will meet from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on the following dates:

  • Monday, September 29
  • Monday, November 10
  • Monday, February 2
  • Monday, March 30
  • Monday, May 11

In addition to these sessions, two optional social gatherings will be held to foster connections between participants and alumni of the program. The 2025–2026 Ambassadors will also be formally recognized at the Board of Education meeting on Monday, May 19.
