Hillcrest Project
Hillcrest - Progress as Promised
In April 2019, Springfield voters approved Proposition S which enables Springfield Public Schools to make facility improvements to a number of schools, including a partial renovation and new addition to Hillcrest High School. SPS will invest $24.75 million to update and expand the building, which will be able to serve 1,200 students. Improvements will include:
- Address accessibility and security challenges
- Addition of new classroom wing and demolition of older portion of building
- Provide secure connection to gym
