Enrollment Details
Determine the appropriate date to enroll based on the grade your child will enter in August 2026.
March 3: Enrollment opens for grades 9-12
March 4: Enrollment opens for grades K-8
If you are choosing to attend seated classes, enroll by May 15 to guarantee your June course selection. There is no deadline for enrolling in online classes.
Transportation
Free bus transportation will be provided for students at an elementary or K-8 site who live more than 1 mile from their designated Explore site. Students at a middle school or high school site who live more than 2.5 miles from their designated Explore site will also be eligible to ride the bus. When you register online, you will be offered the option of signing up to ride the bus if you are eligible. To guarantee bus transportation on June 1, register by April 15. If you have questions, contact your home site.
Meals
Free breakfast and lunch will be offered daily at all Explore sites. Exception: Field (eligibility will be based on the student’s current meal status: full-priced, reduced-price, or free).
IB Programming
PYP programming will be held at Field Elementary School.
MYP programming will be held at Central High School.
Explore Hours
- Seated classes will run from June 1-26.
- Virtual classes will run from June 1-26 and July 6-31.
- Artworks will have two seated sessions: June 1-12 (Session I) and June 15-26 (Session II)
- There are three tiers of start/end times. Find your school's tier here.
- School doors will open 20 minutes before school starts each day.

More Options to Personalize Learning
Extended Learning Program (ELP): Students in grades 1-8 who need extra support in literacy will receive an ELP registration letter. Follow the instructions to sign up for the right courses.
English Language Development (ELD): Elementary students will receive ELD services through their summer building. Specialized middle school ELD is available at Central High School, and high school ELD classes at Central are offered as a full-day program with the opportunity to earn 1.0 credit.
Special Education Services: All courses are accessible for students with disabilities. Parents should consult their child’s teacher before enrolling. Extended School Year (ESY) services will be provided based on the student’s IEP, with in-person ESY for high school students at Central. Contact your child’s process coordinator or special education teacher for questions about ESY eligibility.
