LEAD Academy

This program is available to children living in the Springfield Public Schools attendance area who will be at least three years-old before August 1.  Prospective students must have a recent developmental screening from Parents As Teachers with a score in the 40th percentile or higher as well as a recommendation from a parent educator/screener.

1. Complete the Early Childhood Interest Form.  You will receive a confirmation email after your information is received by our staff.
    
2. Call (417) 523-1333 to schedule a preschool screening or submit a screening appointment request.  Bring your child's immunization record, birth certificate, and proof of residency with you to the screening appointment.  You will also complete additional registration paperwork during the screening appointment.
    
3. Complete the Online Enrollment Form
    

If your child qualifies for placement, you will receive an email with further instructions.  You will also be notified if they do not qualify.
