Secondary Social Studies
Goals:
Goal 1: Teachers will effectively implement district curriculum and resources to plan lessons that are inclusive of and accessible by all students.
Goal 2: Teachers will effectively implement district curriculum and resources to support students in curating connections between content, self, community, and world.
Goal 3: Students are actively engaged in inquiry-based learning and routinely apply the tools of Social Science, which requires student voices in discussion and a variety of activities.
Goal 4: Students will become informed and engaged citizens through participation in Social Studies courses and community experiences.
Goal 5: Students will become culturally responsible citizens through intentional interaction with a variety of texts and resources that provide multiple perspectives.
