Work-Based Learning and Student Experiences connects classroom learning with real-world career exploration. Through partnerships with local employers and community organizations, students participate in activities such as industry tours, guest speaker sessions, job shadows, internships, and project-based learning. These experiences help students build career awareness, develop essential employability skills, and explore potential career pathways.
Aligned with the district’s college and career readiness goals, WBL opportunities give students practical skills, exposure to multiple industries, and a clearer understanding of their postsecondary options. Overall, the program supports students in gaining the confidence and preparation needed for success beyond high school.
Elementary
