Choice Transportation

Transportation is currently provided for some choice magnet schools.  Bus driver shortages have impacted the programs it is provided to. Students on a transfer status attending other choice programs housed within existing school sites are not eligible for transportation (International Baccalaureate, Middle College).  

Beginning in the 2026-2027 school year, SPS will introduce a new shuttle system to make transportation to Choice programs more accessible for families. Students will ride a shuttle from the school near their home to their Choice program. This shuttle system will serve all of our Choice programs, including AgAcademy, Academy of Exploration, Academy of Fine and Performing Arts, Health Sciences Academy and WOLF. More details and specific route information will be shared in spring 2026.
