Each school year, Springfield Public Schools partners with Jordan Valley Community Health Center to offer Trudi’s Kids, a school-based mobile health care clinic. We believe in preventative healthcare and the promotion of healthy lifestyles as keys to success in school and the future.
The medical mobile unit can provide services to children to 21 years of age who are enrolled in Springfield Public Schools. The mobile unit is designed to provide services to children covered by Medicaid, and children who are non-insured. If a bill is received contact Jordan Valley Community Health Center at (417)831-0150 and ask for billing to quickly resolve this matter.
Trudi’s Kids is staffed by a Nurse Practitioner who is able to assess, diagnose, and treat patients, in collaboration with a physician.
Jordan Valley Community Health Centers and Jordan Valley Dental Clinics provide total quality comprehensive healthcare for all ages.
Please fill out a consent form so the school nurse can have your child’s medical information on file should you wish for your child to be seen when the unit comes to his/her school.
Any questions or concerns please contact the school nurse, or call Jordan Valley Community Health Center.
