I am proud graduate of Hillcrest High School. After earning my Early Childhood degree at SMSU, I taught kindergarten for eight years in St. Louis. I moved back to Springfield to be closer to my family in 2009, where I taught two years 1st grade at Watkins and two years 3rd grade at McBride. I've been the Assistant Principal at Williams, McGregor, and Westport before getting my favorite job as Bowerman principal! When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with my husband and son.

Mrs. Hardy has worked for SPS for 17+ years. She lives in our school attendance area and loves the Bowerman community. She’s been married for 30 years, has two adult children and one granddaughter. She even has chickens in her backyard!
