  • High school students will have more options to choose from, including seated and online classes.

Notes to High School Learners:

    • Students can earn a maximum of 2 credits during the summer. Choose a blend of seated and online courses to earn no more than 2 credits for June and July combined.

    • Session 1:  June 3 - June 28 (depending on the actual last day of the regular school year)

    • Session 2:  July 8-30.

    • Course credit will be offered in order (Semester 1 = first 2 weeks, Semester 2 = second 2 weeks)

    • For full credit classes, 1/2 credit will be awarded every 2 weeks; every 2 weeks will count as a semester.

    • All Credit Recovery can be taken online with seated tutoring available.  Students will not receive elective credit for Credit Recovery course if taken online.

    • 10 days prior to the start of the session, courses with fewer than 12 students could be closed due to low enrollment. Students will be notified.

    • End of course exams will be offered at the end of 2 weeks when applicable.

    • To earn course credit, high school students must receive a passing grade. 

    • Seated classes will be held at Central High School. School days will begin at 8 a.m. and end at 2:30 p.m. for Session 1. For Session 2, school days will begin 7:40 a.m. and end at 3:09 p.m.
